Green Gamut
In 2023, the Fish Fry celebrated its 40th
anniversary and is a must-visit each Wednesday
for flavor-packed fish that is cooked over a
wood-burning open flame. The weekends are
also a perfect time to head into West End to
enjoy moist, fluffy panny cakes, pickled conch
salad at Shabo’s and Sherry’s (a variation of
conch salad that is only available in Grand
Bahama), mouthwatering conch fritters at the
Chicken’s Nest or to check out a fun brunch at
Irie’s. Other notable GBI culinary activities
include the nightly shark feedings at the Pier
One Restaurant, enjoying a beer tasting and
tour at The Bahamian Brewery, and indulging in
hand-made caramels or truffles at Bootleg
Chocolates in the Port Lucaya Marketplace.
Save The Date
