Grand Bahama restaurants are bringing a bit of
flavor and culinary flair to diners this August, for the
second annual “Grand Bahama Restaurant Fest.”
Last year, ten restaurants took part, including Out
Da Sea, Oceans Blue, Margarita Villa Sand Bar,
Dolphin Cove Clubhouse, the Garden Cafe,
Upstairs on the Bay, the Green Gamut Bistro,
Flying Fish Gastro Pub, Taino By The Sea
Restaurant and Seagrape Grille. Each restaurant
featured prix fixe menus inclusive of an appetizer,
entree, and dessert, all for one set price.
The month-long event will return, and this year will
celebrate the start of Bahamian Lobster season,
which begins on August 1. Menus will feature a
number of dishes including freshly caught lobster as
well as lots of fresh seafood, Bahamian classics and
internationally inspired options.
Grand Bahama has over 120 restaurants, beachfront
eateries, and unique food stalls. The Restaurant Fest
