Executive Summary
Dear Readers,
I am pleased to present a snapshot of the extensive and
proud history of NEW Water, the brand of the Green Bay
Metropolitan Sewerage District (GBMSD).
Our utility is a shared community resource for Northeast
Wisconsin, ensuring that people can do their laundry, flush
the toilet, and run their businesses whenever they want.
Over the decades, our utility has been a cornerstone to
ensure economic development could occur, and to ensure
continued protection of public health and our precious
Wisconsin waters.
Regulations have changed; technology continues to
evolve. What has remained steadfast is our commitment to
serve this community.
