ROAD SAFETY
STOP ON RED.
Running a red light is 100% preventable. In 2019,
846 people were killed and an estimated 143,000
were injured in crashes involving red-light running.
SHARE THE ROAD.
Motorcycle safety is a two-way street. When
driving near motorcycles - always check your
blindspots, be more cautious when passing, and
give extra space in between you and motorcyclists.
LIMIT DISTRACTIONS.
Multitasking while driving can be deadly. From
adjusting your mirrors, picking music, making
phone calls, or sending a text - limit distractions to
prevent the chance of an accident.
SLOW DOWN AND BUCKLE UP.
Speeding is a major factor in traffic related deaths
and injuries. Excessive speeds reduce reaction
times and increases chances of being involved in a
fatal crash.
