MANOMETRY
Anorectal manometry (ARM) is a diagnostic
procedure to assess the function and
coordination of the anal and rectal
muscles and identify the underlying causes
of bowel movement difficulties.
By evaluating muscle strength, nerve function,
and coordination, the test helps tailor
treatment plans for patients.
