- Any third party who is determined, after an investigation, to have engaged
in conduct prohibited by this policy will be addressed based on their
relationship with the school (e.g., vendor, parent, invitee).
- Any person making a knowingly false accusation regarding prohibited
conduct will likewise be subject to remedial and/or disciplinary action.
No Retaliation:
Retaliation against any person for bringing complaints, participating in the
complaint process, or otherwise providing information about discrimination
or harassment is prohibited.
Legal Recourse – How to Contact a Federal Complaint Agency:
If the school fails to take necessary corrective action to stop harassment
based on race, color, or national origin, further relief may be available
through the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) or the U.S.
Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights.

Any employee who feels they have been subjected to unlawful
discrimination or harassment, including sexual harassment, may file also
file a charge of discrimination with the Illinois Department of Human Rights
within 300 days of the harassment. That charge will be investigated and, if
there is substantial evidence that discrimination or harassment has
occurred, a complaint may be filed with the Illinois Human Rights
