THOMAS
TO MAINTAIN AND DEVELOP FRODE
LAURSEN, WE MUST UNDERSTAND
HOW TO INNOVATE WITH RESPECT FOR
EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN BUILT UP
In 2004, at 38, Thomas Corneliussen was
appointed CEO of Skanol, a joint venture where
Thorkil and Annie owned 50 per cent, while
the oil company Hydro Texaco owned the other
half.
“The meeting with Thorkil was ‘colourful’
and characterised by two owners from very

found each other. Today, there is an exemplary
collaboration between Skanol’s owners.
“Throughout the years that followed, Thorkil and I got to know each other and worked
closely together, and in 2016, I was offered the
chance to join Frode Laursen’s executive board.
While I was sad to say goodbye to Skanol, a fantastic company, the temptation and challenge of
Frode Laursen’s offer was too great to pass up.”
THE NEXT STEP
On 1 January 2017, Thomas joined Frode
Laursen’s executive board, which at the time
consisted of four members. He was responsible
for Logistics and 3PL customers. In the follow-
