The manifesto is part of what Thomas considers a necessary process: Thorkil and his wife
and co-owner Annie will leave the company one
day to make room for the next generation: their
daughters Mira and Luna.
“I look upon it as I am building a bridge
from Thorkil and Annie’s ownership of the
company to Mira and Luna’s ownership,” says
Thomas.
Since 2019 Mira and Luna have each held an
ownership share of around 45 per cent of the
share capital in Frode Laursen, while a foundation, the ATTA Foundation, owns about 10 per
cent. In 2023, Annie and Thorkil still have the
decisive influence through their votes.

That means we cross the bridge between Zealand and Funen
every nine minutes.

The idea behind the generational change
and the structure is that Frode Laursen will
continue to be a family business.
THE ATTA FOUNDATION
In addition to its role as a shareholder in Frode
Laursen A/S, the ATTA Foundation’s purpose is
to help people with dyslexia and young people
and children whose parents are employed
in the logistics industry. In addition, the
foundation supports non-profit organisations
within the logistics industry. That these areas
are in focus is not accidental. Thorkil Andersen
himself has dyslexia – and at the same time, he
