Most of Sweden can be reached from the Helsingborg area in one day. Access to Denmark
is easy and southern Norway is also within
reach.
That’s why Åstorp, a few kilometres from
Helsingborg, was an obvious location when
Frode Laursen established a base in Sweden in
2006. Today, one warehouse in Åstorp has become three. There are also three other logistics

centres elsewhere in Sweden. Country Manager
Pontus Lindgren is responsible for all of it.
“Sweden is, of course, quite a long country,
but around 90 per cent of the population live
from Stockholm downwards, and we can get to
them on the same day. Then there is 5-10 per
cent in the north. They have to wait an extra
day, but they’re okay with that. They’re not in
such a rush.”
