PRIMARY DISCONNECT
TWISTED PAIR
DISPENSER
DISCONNECTS
By connecting to the site’s emergency stop system, Twisted Pair
Primary Dispenser Disconnects are designed to disconnect low
voltage communication conductors. These conductors include
dispenser data and credit card data two-wire, twisted pair circuits
for a total of 4 conductors for up to 8, 12, or 16 dispensers.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Primary disconnect for dispenser data and credit
card communication.
• Aids in compliance with NFPA® and NEC® codes.
• Suitable for new and retrofit applications.
• Expandable for the future.
• Compact modular design.
• Lockable cover for lockout/tagout requirements.
• The 8 dispenser models connect to the emergency
stop system by the means of a Class 2 transformer that
is plugged into an outlet controlled by the emergency
stop system.
• The 12 or 16 dispenser models connect to the emergency
stop system by the means of an AC power cord (or optional
hardwire) that is plugged into an outlet controlled by the
emergency stop system.

• Toggle switches, located behind a lockable cover, allow
you to isolate the conductors of a single dispenser for
servicing purposes.
• Expandable to allow disconnecting of additional
secondary communication circuits such as intercom and
media circuits. This is easily done by connecting the
secondary disconnects to the remote expansion port
located on the side of the primary disconnect.
• Individual disconnects for each circuit types allows the
disconnect to be located where the conductors enter the
building. This can eliminate costly additional wiring and
downtime that maybe required to re-route conductors to a
central location such as the electrical room, during a
retrofit or site upgrade.
