UCT’s 2010–2014 strategic
plan had at its heart six
main goals, from which were
developed 58 indicators
against which to monitor
progress. At the end of
the five-year plan, it was
important to evaluate
our progress, not only to
determine the impact of
the plan, but also to inform
the development of the
next strategic plan, and to
contribute to knowledge
about the role of institutional
plans in driving change
in higher education.
