eGreen launches sustainable high grade paper cutlery

has launched a high grade of
paper cutlery. Sleek, smooth
with the best user experience,

Sourced from responsibly
managed forests, the cutlery is
made from 9 layers of pressed
paper, which gives it both
strength and stability. It
doesn’t have a coating, unlike
other paper products, it is
PFAS free
The products are compostable and can be disposed of with food waste or
recycled.
A focus group did some comparative testing using eGreen’s new paper
cutlery, wooden cutlery and bagasse cutlery. In all areas , the paper cutlery
scored the highest with members noting that it was silky smooth, with no
taste or dryness which was the feature of both wooden and bagasse
products. Moreover, the deep spoon made it an ideal choice for eating
cereals, porridge, yogurt, curry and soup. The group were surprised that the
knife had very good serrations which made it easy to cut fruit such as
melon, oranges and apples.
The range carries a slight premium over the alternatives but given the
consumer feedback it is a clear winner.
