Brad Stansfield Managing Partner
Brad has nearly two decades’ experience in community newspapers across
both Victoria and Tasmania. He keenly understands the sector and its
importance to rural and regional communities, and has been instrumental in
the recovery and relaunch of several titles across the island.
Martine Haley Editor
Martine is a highly capable and credentialled journalist with more than
two decades of experience at Sydney’s Manly Daily and as Deputy
Editor of The Mercury. She now heads up editorial of the split-run monthly
Sorell Times, Tasman Gazette & East Coast View, as well as the weekly
Derwent Valley Gazette.
Karolin MacGregor Editor
Karolin has spent 24 years working as a journalist in the print and digital media
industry, including the past six years as editor of Tasmanian Country. A
country girl at heart, Karolin grew up at Molesworth, and now lives with her
partner on their property at Elizabeth Town.
Lana Best Editor
The Northern Midlands Courier editor Lana Best is an award-winning journalist who has worked in the newspaper industry for the majority of her 40year career in media, including extensive experience across The Examiner
newspaper, University of Tasmania and Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Passionate about story-telling, a skilled photographer and having grown up
on the land in northern Tasmania her return to community newspapers is
welcome.
