Artist Linda Holderbaum
Linda Holderbaum has been the Executive Director of the Art Center of Battle Creek
since 2005. She graduated from WMU with a degree in Art Education and was curator
at the Art Center for 12 years in the 1970s. She teaches acrylic painting classes at the
Art Center. “Other than doing a painting of my own dog, this is the first pet portrait I
have done. This is also the first painting I have completed since Covid started a year
ago. I felt I needed to participate as we have adopted several pets from the Humane
Society and wanted to help with this new fund raiser.”
