“My name is Shevy Rocho; I am 25 years old and I had the pleasure to paint Keppra
the cat. I struggled a lot with this painting since I’m not sure what color tiger stripe is, so
finding the perfect shade for her body was a struggle. I mixed a lot of colors together to
make it work! I’m more artistic in the sense of matching furniture and color coordinating
décor. Painting is not one of my strong abilities. I used a canvas and regular paint
you could find at Michael’s. I sketched the cat with pencil first then went over that with
paint. I only managed to pop a hole in one canvas out of frustration.”
