“What would this world be without art and animals?! I
am a 25 year old self taught artist, from metro Detroit.
My best friends growing up were my black lab mix
Snoopy, and my sketchbook. I love putting lots of
detail into the eyes when I paint pets, to emphasize
that special kindness they carry.
This portrait is made with acrylic paint on canvas. I
chose a simple solid green background to compliment
the brown fur, and to keep the focus on this adorable
subject!”
