LIFT CASTERS
FATH Lifting Casters: Be flexible and fast with the plug-and-work solution
• Fast and flexible placement of
machines and structures
• Strictly synchronous lifting
movement of all units
• To move heavy, sensitive
machines
• Keeps the machine horizontal
balanced
• Compact lifting system
• Ready to install set
HIGHLIGHTS
Flexibility is one of the important features of modern manufacturing facilities. Setting up and leveling a machine or installation into a relatively
permanent position for years to come is not
necessarily common practice any longer.
The Lift Caster is delivered as a set containing four lifting units including the leveling
feet. Available with either a manual hydraulic pump and the necessary hydraulic piping
or an electric drive unit. The lifting units are
simply screwed on to the structure that is to
be moved. Just by turning a crank or electric
operation, any machine or installation using
this equipment can be lifted by the integrated leveling feet and easily pushed along
any normal industrial floor. The lifting
motion is conducted evenly so that
nothing tilts or becomes unleveled.
It is with this scenario in mind that FATH
has developed its Lift Caster unit
a s
a “Plug-and-Work” solution which has been
conceptualized as
a mounting for
machinery and
facilities with a

ting load of 500
kg per unit. The
extra flat unit is
composed of a Blickle swiveling roller
that is screwed on to an
aluminum mounting. The
rolling mounts of these swiveling rollers are bedded into the
die-cast aluminum chassis
using a Teflon strip. The helix
threading translates rotation
of the lift into vertical movement. An Ergoswiss hydraulic
cylinder drives the rotation.
Lift Caster hydraulic or electric
The lifting system from FATH for fast and flexible placement of plants, fixtures or assembly
tables is available with 2 different drives. With the hydraulic drive, the set consists of 4 lifting units incl. drive unit and hydraulic
piping. The transmission ratio of cylinder / lifting unit is 10:1.
The electric FATH Lift Caster is available both individually and in a set of 4. The electric drive is operated with a voltage of 24 V and
has a Wieland RST20i2 electrical connector. Thanks to the robust die-cast aluminum housing, a Lift Caster set of 4 lifting units
has a load capacity of up to 2 tons when placed centrally. The lifting mechanism with Teflon bearings enables smooth lifting, and
rollers with ball bearings enable easy movement.
