People make Explore
Thank you to everyone who got involved, made a difference and
helped shape Explore last year.
Thank you for bringing a friend to share a coffee at our vibrant reading cafes,
for telling others about the work we do or sharing on social media. Thank you for
volunteering your precious time and for becoming a friend of your local library.
Thank you for giving a donation because you enjoyed something so much or
because you simply wanted to make a difference. Thank you for sponsoring a
programme that meant families struggling with the cost of living were able to
enjoy time together in a warm, welcoming space. Thank you to our partners who
worked with us so that together we were able to do even more to support our
communities.
I was having a really stressful
morning but then I brought my
2-year-old into the library for the
afternoon to go to the Lego dropin session and it turned my day
around! The familiar environment
and friendly staff in the library
really made me feel calm again
and I was able to enjoy the
afternoon with my daughter.”
