Happy days! In 2022 we scrapped all
charges on overdue items and fees
for reserving books. Though late
charges are supposed to encourage
people to return items, they have a
disproportionate impact on people
in our community who need us the
most by creating barriers to library
use. All Explore library cardholders
were given a clean slate in February
2022. If you haven’t visited a library
for a while due to charges on your
account, we can’t wait to welcome
you back!
