RINA’s Expert Witness Services
RINA offers a worldwide expert witness service with
experts drawn from across many sectors and academic
disciplines including electrical, mechanical, civil and
marine engineers, materials scientists, physicists and
chemists. We have specific expertise in construction
equipment, refineries and process plant, power generation and distribution, complex buildings and data
centres, manufacturing support and consumer products, both for failure investigation and legislative
assessment.
We offer an integrated approach to failure analysis
using our own laboratories in the UK and Italy
equipped with analysis tools and equipment capable of
completing complex investigations in-house, for an independent assessment in a secure environment.
Many of our facilities are unique having been developed as bespoke testing equipment including pipeline
pressure system and large load testing. We welcome
visitors attending to see tests being conducted firsthand where multiple parties take part in a claim.
