We’re reaching
millions through
TikTok!
We launched
GRIEF SUCKS,
a digital content
platform for
young people.
We launched GRIEF SUCKS
(www.griefsucks.com), a digital
content platform that provides
grieving teens a place of belonging
to normalize their grief. It features
celebrities talking about grief, teen
reviews of grief-related
pop-culture content, kids’ candid
stories, irreverent videos, and more.
Most importantly, it’s teen-approved:
we built GRIEF SUCKS with our
20-member Youth Advisory Board
(composed of grieving kids ages 11
to 17 from around the U.S.) to make
sure the platform feels relevant,
engaging, and authentic. The
content and design reflects insights
we’ve gained from thousands of
grieving kids over the years.
On our TikTok account — which
has over 150,000 followers and
millions of views —
we share videos of
our campers offering
specific insights about
childhood grief and
how to support kids
experiencing it, along
with expert advice
from clinicians.
Millions of people
are learning how
to support grieving
young people directly
from our campers,
and those millions
can now bring that
wisdom and sensitivity
back to their own
communities!
Hear from a few of our
thoughtful campers
on TikTok (caregivers
give us permission to
share their stories)...
