1. Frame Construc on: Aprons are constructed u lizing kiln-dried hardwoods, which are to
have a moisture content not exceeding 6 -8%. All leg assemblies are secured to apron with metal connectors.
2. Top Construc on: Tabletops are fabricated u lizing 25-mm industrial par cle core substrate
with a 45 lb. density. The laminate top shall be a balance sandwich construc on with a standard
backer sheet. All exposed edges shall be finished with a 25 mm x 13 mm kiln dried hardwood,
which is to have a moisture not exceeding 6 –8%. Hardwood edges are mechanically banded to
substrate to maximize gluing surface. Hardwood edge profiles as per catalog op ons indicated.
3. Legs: Op ons include 60 mm diameter x 710 mm high, epoxy coated, veneer wrapped metal leg with PVC adjustable glide, Queen Anne style hardwood leg or Chippendale style hardwood
leg.
4. Finish: All exposed wood parts will be sanded smooth and sealed with 3 coats of catalyzed
lacquer. The lacquer will be 35 degree sheen and be a type that is alcohol, water and grease
resistant. Sanding of surfaces shall be required between each coat of lacquer to ensure a
smooth consistent finish.
