Drawer fronts will be a minimum ¾” thick material, unless otherwise specified. Drawer
sides and backs will be a minimum 5/8” thick white melamine taped on all sides, joined
to each other and to drawer fronts. Drawer bo oms will be white marlite, 3/16” thick
in all cases, contained in dadoes on four sides, and stapled to assure con nuing squareness. Roller side guide drawer suspension slides are clipped with four rollers, using patented silent glide, polyurethane res, which provide posi ve locking ac on in open posi on for easy removal of drawer from cabinet and eliminates metal to metal contacts.
All Ever-Care Contract Furnishings drawer boxes come with a life me warranty.
8. GLIDES
Case good furniture pieces (except wall mounted items and sea ng pieces) will be provided with a minimum 5/8” diameter non-marring, corrosion proof plas c glides.
9. HARDWARE
Pulls, handles and other decora ve hardware will be of the type and finish as shown on
the drawings and/or specified. Samples may be submi ed to compliment design, for
approval.
10. MIRRORS
Mirrors are 1/8” or 3 mm. Mirrors, supplied to Ever-Care Contract Furnishings by a
glass specialist, are manufactured from S.Q. (silver quality) float glass, which is cleaned
and polished using cerium oxide. A sensi zing solu on is applied. Copper is then applied and electroly cally fused to the silver to produce a herme c seal. The final step is
an exterior coa ng of hard composi on paint which is baked on.
11. SCORING OR “V” GROOVING
Scoring, where indicated on drawings, will be approximately 1/16” x 1/16” deep routed
with edges sanded smooth, unless otherwise specified.
12. STANDARDS OF WORK
All workmanship be Ever-Care Contract Furnishings will be of the highest grade used in
furniture and cabinet work and will contain all structural and ar s c detail as indicated
on the drawings or pictures and exemplified by the best standard of furniture cra smanship.
