They draw on a combination of grants, fundraising, localbusiness support, provider sponsorship and more. Greig City Academy's sailingprogramme is an excellent example of giving young people accountability forgetting financial backing for ambitious trips and visits. Some are meanstested, some are for specific projects andothers are open-ended. Finding thesegrants can be time-consuming but there issupport out there.This new resource lists relevant fundingopportunities that schools can apply for, to support educational visits and learningoutside the classroom. The school signs up and shares a link with parents. Whenthey shop online (in over 8,000 online retailers) a percentage goes directly to theschool; donated by retailers and costing shoppers and schools nothing.Tell us about grants and funding!
