GET OUT GRANTS
FUNDING YOUR
EDUCATIONAL VISITS
Inspirational educational visits don't happen by accident.
They take a lot of planning, big ideas, an enthusiastic
team, and, of course, money.
Many of the schools we feature in the EVC Magazine get creative when it comes
to funding their visits. They draw on a combination of grants, fundraising, local
business support, provider sponsorship and more. Greig City Academy's sailing
programme is an excellent example of giving young people accountability for
getting financial backing for ambitious trips and visits. (Find out more on page 27).
FUNDING FINDER
Search the new Funding Finder from
EVOLVE Advice for the latest grant and
funding opportunities.
There is a wide range of grants available
for schools to apply for. Some are meanstested, some are for specific projects and
others are open-ended. Finding these
grants can be time-consuming but there is
support out there.
This new resource lists relevant funding
opportunities that schools can apply for, to support educational visits and learning
outside the classroom. It is regularly updated and also signposts other useful sites
to help with your budgeting.
Opportunities are listed in order of expiry and are researched and updated by our
amazing support team. If you spot any new opportunities, please tell us straight
away so we can share them with our school community on the Funding Finder.

EASYFUNDRAISING
If you prefer online shopping, Easyfundraising provides a free, easy-to-use
platform to raise funds. The school signs up and shares a link with parents. When
they shop online (in over 8,000 online retailers) a percentage goes directly to the
school; donated by retailers and costing shoppers and schools nothing.
Tell us about grants and funding! Please email us with information about other
funding opportunities so that we can share them with other schools via our training,
newsletters and in the Funding Finder. info@evolveadvice.co.uk
