(2) PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND JUSTIFICATION:
The scum pump is responsible for the removal of floatables in the treatment process. Failure
to remove floatables will cause labor entensive cleaning and unsightly effluent. The Pump is
in its original design is approaching 20 years of wear & tear.
