Compliance and Legal Matters: Compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational
policies is crucial. A successful outcome indicates that the HR department is well-versed in
employment law, manages legal matters effectively, and ensures the organization’s practices
align with legal requirements.
Employee Engagement: The HR department actively promotes employee engagement and satisfaction. Positive outcomes highlight initiatives to measure and improve employee engagement,
such as regular surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs.
Diversity and Inclusion: The HR department prioritizes diversity and inclusion efforts. They work
to create inclusive workplaces, promote diversity in recruitment, and implement programs that
support underrepresented groups within the organization.
Compensation and Benefits: Effective management of compensation and benefits programs is

ensure competitiveness. In FY 2024 all full-time employees will receive a 5% COLA increase
and $1,000 flat pay for the employee retention.

City employees and the HR department actively promotes gym usage and new gym equipment.
