NON-MAJOR GOVERNMENTAL FUNDS
Special Revenue Funds
Special Revenue Funds are used to account for specioc revenues that are legally restricted to expenditures for particular purposesÿ
Library Contribution Funds
This fund is used to account for funds that are either raised or donated to the Eustis memorial public
Libraryÿ
Law Enforcement Education Fund
This Fund is used to account for ones which are restricted to police education training programs.
Law Enforcement Trust Fund
This fund is used to account for funds received as a result of drug forfeitures, which are restricted
to drug enforcement training, and programs for police ofocers.
Street Improvement Fund
This fund is used to accumulate monies received from motor fuel gas tax sourcesÿ These funds are
legally restricted to street maintenance programs and the money is expended solely on maintenance
of the streets and rights-of-way within the Cityÿ
Building Services Fund
This fund is used to account for revenues and expenditures associated with enforcing the Florida
building Code, per FÿSÿ §553ÿ80(7)(a)(b)ÿ
Stormwater Utility Fund
This fund is used to accumulate revenues which will fund the programs necessary to address problems associated with the Stormwater runoffÿ
Impact Fee Fund
These funds are used to accumulate revenues derived from newly constructed facilitiesÿ The fees
are used to help defray the cost of capital expenditures necessitated by growth. Specioc impact
fees are collected for Law Enforcement, Fire Prevention, Parks & Recreation, and Public Library.
Cemetery Trust Fund
This fund is used to accumulate revenues for Greenwood Cemetery maintenanceÿ Twenty percent
of the funds from the sale of cemetery lots go to this fundÿ Interest earned is used for operations and
the principal may be used for capital purchases
