INTRODUCTORY SECTION
The City received the GFOA9s Award for Distinguished Budget Presentation for its annual onancial
plan for the oscal year 2022-23 budget. This was the ninth year the City had received this prestigious
awardÿ To qualify for the Distinguished budget presentation Award, the City9s budget document was
judged proocient in all categories, including policy documentation, onancial planning, organization,
and as a communication mediumÿ We expect to continue to achieve this distinctionÿ
The preparation of this report was only possible with the efocient and dedicated services of the entire
staff in Financeÿ We want to express our appreciation to all members of the department who assisted
and contributed to the preparation of this reportÿ We also thank the mayor and the Commissioners for
your support in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in managing the City9s onances.
