The following is a schedule of bonds and notes outstanding on September 30, 2023:
In governmental fund onancial statements, the amount of compensated absences associated with
employee terminations before year-end is recorded as an expenditure and represents the amounts
that would typically be liquidated with available spendable resourcesÿ All governmental fund
compensated absences are recorded and split between the current and noncurrent portions in the
Government-Wide Financial Statementsÿ The compensated absences payable and other postemployment beneots from the governmental funds are liquidated from the General, Street Improvement,
and Stormwater Fundsÿ
In proprietary funds, compensated absences associated with employee vacations and sick leave are
recorded as expenses, representing the amounts accrued during the yearÿ The liability for compensated absences of these funds is reflected in the respective onancial statements split between the
current and noncurrent portionsÿ
