Manejo artroscópico de las roturas irreparables del manguito rotador
los que se desee preservar la articulación. Cada vez existen
más publicaciones que informan de resultados alentadores
con esta técnica, que se relacionan directamente con la
tasa de cicatrización del injerto empleado. Tras la cirugía, se
recomienda encarecidamente comenzar con un programa de
rehabilitación supervisado. Es probable que la restauración
de la migración de la cabeza humeral se relacione con un
aumento de la estabilidad glenohumeral y un enlentecimiento
en el desarrollo de cambios degenerativos en la articulación.
Es fundamental realizar seguimiento a nuestros pacientes
para poder conocer y evaluar los resultados a largo plazo que
determinen la utilidad de esta técnica.
