INTRODUCTION
It is always exciting introducing new parents and their families to
Warminster, knowing that amongst them is the next generation
of determined, happy, kind and modest young adults. With a
wealth of information available on our website we see ‘Made
in Warminster’ as a valuable opportunity to add something
extra to the insight you are seeking as you research the right
school for you and your child.
I encourage you to take a moment to explore and digest the
many wide and varied testimonials of our former pupils, known
in our community as Old Verlucians (OVs). I believe that it is
only through their personal stories that you will understand
the richness and diversity of opportunity that an education
at Warminster delivers.
Overwhelmingly our OVs talk of a community supported
by unparalleled pastoral care providing the space and freedom
for pupils to embrace the full spectrum of opportunities both
inside and outside the classroom. This special combination
of community and opportunity lies at the very heart of
Warminster’s ethos as our OVs so vividly and readily endorse.
Indeed, as a parent myself of three future OVs, I would be
proud to think that one day my children might emulate any
one of the Old Verlucians’ stories and experiences you will
read about.
I very much hope that you will feel compelled to visit and allow

child which will, ultimately, enable them to write a success story
of their own.
