And this means we not only should but can integrate the ethical-moral and spiritual dimension in formal schooling. These dimensions mean
that students are offered personalized education and exposed to the tools
they need to develop their inner self, namely, on the basis of values and
worldviews. This personalized education is a powerful protection against
loneliness, anger, boredom and disenfranchement. A value based, personalized education scaffolds the growing child, gives students a sense
of self and of belonging, empowers and gives voice to young adults. And
all these personal traits will be the toolkit they need to navigate in this
complex and uncertain world as active and integral individuals that contribute to the betterment of society.
