National Park is the historic town of
Tavistock, a friendly town that welcomes
any visitor whether for a few hours, the
day or for a holiday.
In the town, alongside wonderful boutique
hotels and cosy B&Bs, there is a Victorian
shopping arcade, a museum, a lovely park
for picnics and the second oldest Norman
castle in the county. For those who prefer
to embrace the elements, there’s also

market which has been running for over
900 years, containing a mix of traders
whose stalls are open 5 days a week and
change depending on the daily theme.
