SHARKHAM POINT
On the South West Coast Path, this headland to the south of
St Mary’s Bay, Brixham, has stunning coastal views. Managed as part
of Berry Head National Nature Reserve, the site has a car park,
footpaths and horse-riding route. The Torbay Coast & CountrysideTrust
manage and improve the site for wildlife.
The underlying Devonian limestone gives rise to the particular diversity
of plants found here.

SOUTH WEST COAST PATH
The English Riviera has 22 miles of coastline and is an
UNESCO Global Geopark area, all of which can be discovered on the
South West Coast Path, which runs along the naturally inspiring bay
between Maidencombe in the north and Sharkham Point in the south.
The English Riviera Visitor Information Centre on Torquay harbour is a
SWCP Passport stamping point, and has maps and guides for sale.

TESSIER GARDENS
Hidden away between Babbacombe and St. Marychurch, Tessier
Gardens is a small and delightful park that was gifted to the town in 1933.
The gardens lend themselves to quiet contemplation and enjoyment
of the tranquil setting.
No under 18s, cycling or ballgames, by covenant.
Open 9am - 4:30pm (12:30pm - 4:30pm on Sundays). Free admission.

THATCHER POINT
Spectacular viewing point on the South West Coast Path, overlooking
Thatcher Rock island and out to sea. People visit to take in the sea views,
to go fishing off the coast, or to simply walk along the coast path.
There is an array of flora and birdlife at the site.
