GEOPLAY PARK PAIGNTON
An English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark Key Site.
Popular free children’s playpark on Paignton seafront. The park is divided
into areas for different age groups and different play experiences, with
over 30 pieces of play equipment. The 4 areas tell the story of the four
critical geological time periods in Torbay’s history.
Near to the beach, cafés, pier, promenade and crazy golf.

ITALIAN GARDENS - ABBEY PARK
The Italian Gardens form part of Abbey Park and Meadows.
Just off the main seafront road, the gardens are a riot of colour in
the summer. You will also find a charming pond with fountain and
water rock garden. Admission is free and the gardens are open daily,
all year around.
There is disabled access and public transport is close by.

MANSCOMBE WOODS
Woodlands next to Cockington Country Park. Begin at the idyllic
Cockington village. Wander round the Cockington Estate with large,
manicured gardens, stroll around the three lakes or head into
Manscombe Woods to get back to nature.

OCCOMBE VALLEY WOODS
A dedicated local nature reserve and ancient woodlands with a stream.
Great for dog walking, especially on hot days. Pathways are mostly
gently sloping, with some steps and steeper sections. Enter from points
off Preston Down Road and Sandringham Drive.
Limited parking on residential roads, so a good starting point is
Occombe Farm which has parking, toilets and a café.
