CLENNON LAKES
A designated County Wildlife Site consisting of man-made lakes, which is
the most important wetland site on the English Riviera and home to many
bird species. Please ensure that dogs do not disturb the wildlife.
Pathways are mostly flat. Wellies recommended in winter.
The nearest public parking is Torbay Leisure Centre car park.

COCKINGTON VILLAGE AND
COUNTRY PARK
An English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark Key Site. Quintessential
English village with quaint thatched cottages. The 450 acre park is a
mix of parkland, countryside and woodland. With ornamental lakes,
a historic Manor House with craft centre (see separate listing for
Cockington Court) and church. Explore the paths by foot or bike,
or take a horse and carriage ride. Visitor Centre, shops, refreshments.

DOWN COPSE WOODLAND
Down Copse is a mixed plantation which encloses the Greenway Park
to the east. The permissive bridleway along the edge of the copse is
followed by the Greenway Walk, a route encouraged by the National Trust
to avoid traffic along Greenway Road to the house.
