Beautiful Babbacombe Downs has the highest cliff top promenade in
England, and on a clear day you can see right across to Portland Bill
in Dorset.
It’s the perfect place to relax and gaze out to sea, and there are plenty
of eateries, including award-winning fish and chips.

BERRY HEAD NATURE RESERVE
An English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark Key Site.
A National Nature Reserve with the country’s highest and shortest
lighthouse, this stunning headland has expectional views across the
bay and beyond. Remains of Napoleonic Fort. Visitor Centre and
Guardhouse Cafe. Toilets. Coast, woodland and country paths.

BRIXHAM BATTERY GARDENS
The gardens are a natural landscape of trees and grass with panoramic
views across the Bay. A great place to walk in all seasons, with footpaths
throughout. The area was once a World War II Battery point. Along your
walk you will see many shelters used by the Brixham Home Guard
during WWII.
The Battery Gardens is host to the Brixham Battery Museum.
