FAIRY COVE PAIGNTON
A pretty little beach to the south of Paignton Sands, just over the
harbour wall, which is popular with families and dog owners.
Impressive red sandstone cliffs and at low tide the beach is separated
from the sea by flat rocks with interesting rock pools to explore.
Type: sand and shingle.
Access: difficult - via steps. Nearest car park is Roundham.

FISHCOMBE COVE BRIXHAM
A peaceful little cove surrounded by cliffs and wooded hillsides, on the
outskirts of Brixham. The beach is sheltered and an idyllic spot to escape
the town crowds.
Type: shingle with rocks and cliffs. Access: difficult - restricted access
via steep path from the car park or via steps from Battery Gardens.
Nearest car park is Freshwater.

GOODRINGTON SANDS PAIGNTON
A large, family-friendly beach with calm waters and attractive scenery.
Splashdown Quaywest Waterpark and Youngs Park are adjacent
(see separate listings). Toilets, amusements, cafe/restaurant, refreshments,
watersports, beach huts and deckchairs.
Type: sandy with rock pools. Dogs: South sands - welcome 1 Oct - 30 Apr.
North sands - permitted all year.
Access: good - easy, with level areas throughout.
