What’s happening in the picture? (accept all correct answers that are
in direct correspondence with the picture.)
3. Let’s Match! (page 16)
Have the students go back to the picture on pages 14-15. Point out the people in the picture.
Ask:
What do all of these people have in common? (They all have T-shirts with a letter on it.)
Say:
Read the sentences.
Each sentence describes someone in the picture.
You have to read and find that person in the picture.
Then write the correct letter from that person’s T-shirt.
The first one has been done for you.
Have the students work in their notebooks.
