THE DETECTIVES - TEACHER’S GUIDE - Unit 5
Amy:
EVERYONE:
Believe me it will be great! If somebody is bullying you or one of your friends,
you write ‘Uncool’ at the top of the note, because it’s uncool to be a bully.
And then you tell what happened.
And if somebody is cool, well, you can write about that too! I like this idea,
Tom! I like it SO MUCH that we are going to do it, right now!
Everyone, take out a pen, please, and a piece of paper from your notebook. I
want each one of you to write a note to someone else.
It doesn’t have to be to a friend. It doesn’t have to be someone you
know. But it does have to make that person feel great. To feel really proud of
who they are, and that they have a friend.
(rustling, murmuring getting-ready to write sounds from kids)
Are you ready? Okay, at the top of the note, I want you to write…
COOL!!!!
