in this Teacher's guide.
The students are going to role play the Town Hall
Meeting. They will work in groups of 8.
Hand out a photocopy of the script to each member
of each group.
Say:
Curriculum:
P: Students will present information
on limited content, supported by
visual aids.
You and your friends are going to act out the Town Hall meeting.
Each group will have to decide who plays which role.
The roles are:
o The mayor
o Michelle
o Charles
o Kate
o Tom
o Jordan
o Lily
o Sasha
Read the script, decide who plays which role, practice the parts.
Get props, costumes, etc. if you want.
In the group, decide how the meeting ends.
When you are ready, present your play to the class.
To ensure everyone takes part in this, assign roles to each student in the group, making sure each
role is well suited to the student's abilities.
