You have a word bank to help you out.
First decide which adjectives are good for each invention.
You can add some of your own.
Then write two sentences describing each invention in the advertisements.
Use the checklist in your book (p.100)to make sure you do everything.
When they are finished, have pairs read out their descriptions.
You may want to use this rubric to assess the students’ work.

Extra Activity:
Simpler: Have the students copy the words from the word bank and look them up, making sure
they know all the meanings. Then they are to make a chart with three columns, one for each
picture. They are to write the adjectives from the lists that are most suitable for each item in the
picture.
More challenging: Have the students write at least three sentences describing how they would use
each of the inventions in their daily life.

Prepare beforehand: Below are 12 products that the students will have to "sell". You can add other
products that you think your class would like. Write each product on a separate piece of paper and
fold it. Put all folded papers into a bag/bowl and call on students to pick one.
