Case Summary
Have the students open their Detective’s Notebooks to write a Case Summary.
They can work in pairs to do this activity.
Say:
You have a series of questions in your books.
You have the answers to these questions in your Detective’s Notebooks.
Answer the questions using the clues you have and the information from the
stories.
When you finish answering the questions, put all your answers together and
you’ll get a wonderful paragraph. This paragraph will summarize the whole
case.
Please don't forget to sign your name and write today’s date. (Explain in
Hebrew or Arabic if Necessary)
Remember to write the answers on the board so that everyone is able to see
the correct answers and fill in any missing information.

2. The suspects are the man with the green face, the man with the scar and Bill the
librarian who lies about being at Carly’s Café.
3. The clues: all the bikes were green, the man who was on the phone at the bus
stop had a scar on his arm, the timetable, the man who left the basketball game at
halftime, Al who is on the phone with the man with the scar.
4. The criminals are Al, Bill and Bill’s twin brother.
5. They catch the criminals at the old swimming pool.
