Have students color the letters at the top of the page, following the direction of the
arrows.
Activity 2
• Draw a small ‘g’ on the Letter House poster.
• Ask where small ‘g’ lives. (in the middle of the house and on the bottom floor)
• Draw a big ‘G’ on the Letter House poster.
• Ask where big ‘G’ lives. (on the top floor and in the middle)
• Have students write a row of ‘Gg’s. As students write each letter they can make the
sound /g/.
Activity 3
• Circle the bananas that have words that begin with the letter ‘g’. (girl, glue, guitar)
Activity 4
• Look at the pictures.
• Ask what each picture shows. Say the word written below each picture. (gorilla, girl,
guitar, glue)
• Have students repeat the words after you.
• Circle the letter ‘g’.
• Now ask them, what other letters they know in these words.
• Have students trace the letters.
