Small 't', Action and Chant
• Write the numbers 1 – 10 on the board. Say the names of the numbers aloud as you
point to the numbers.
• Point to number 2. Ask students what number it is. (two)
• Ask what sound they hear at the beginning of the word ‘two’. (/t/)
• Point to number 10 and ask again what sound they hear at the beginning of the word
‘ten’? (/t/)
