Trivia Game Competition (game #27)
- Put these letters on the board: X, U, V, K, Q, A, E, G, H, M, S.
- Ask a question about each letter: Show me this letter on the ABC strip.
What is the name of the letter? What is the sound? Say 1, 2, or 3
words that start with this letter.

Pass the Ball (game #17)
- Say a letter and pass the ball to a pupil.
- The pupil says a word that begins with that letter, chooses a new letter, and
passes the ball to another pupil.
- That pupil says a word that begins with the letter and chooses a new letter.
- Continue this procedure with additional letters.

Cube or Beanbag Throw (game #53)
- Scatter letter flashcards (X,U,V, K, E, G, H, M, S) on the floor. Pupils take
turns tossing the cube or the beanbag. When they hit a card, they say the
letter, its sound and words that begin with the sound.
- This game can also be played as a group competition.
