LESSON PROCEDURE
I. Introductions and Greetings
Song

"Good Morning Max" (song #1.31)
- Put the letters M - a - x on the board.
- Ask pupils to sound out the word and read it aloud.
- Have pupils shout out Max!

"ABC" (song #1.42)
- Sing the song together with pupils.
- Have pupils repeat each line after you.
- Ask pupils to stand up when you sing the beginning letter of their name.

Do the special greeting with gestures: How are you today? Fine/So-so/Cool,
thank you.
●
Model I like ..... What do you like? with Max. Practice with several pupils.
●
"He Loves to Eat" (song #2.25)
- Give out the flashcards: salad, chicken, pizza, sandwich, chips, watermelon,
hamburgers, oranges, bananas, apples, cookies to different pupils.
- Have pupils hold up the flashcard when the food is mentioned in the song.
