- Ask pupils: What animals do you see in the picture?
- Tell pupils: We invited the animals to come and eat with us. Listen to me
tell you what each animal eats or drinks. Draw a line from each animal to
its food.

3. The rabbit eats pizza.
4. The elephant eats an apple.
5. The dog drinks cola.
6. The cow drinks milk.

- Check the work by asking: What does the sheep eat? What does the
cow drink? Explain the word drink and use it often. Pupils answer: The

Pass the Message (game #30)
- Play the game in groups.
- Whisper a sentence to the first pupil: I like pizza, bananas and apples.
Each pupil whispers it to his/her neighbor until the last pupil in the group
has heard the sentence. Call on the last pupil in each group to say the
sentence out loud.
