Ask pupils: What day is today? What day was yesterday? What day is
tomorrow?

II. Vocabulary
Food
- Tell pupils there are some food names they may already know, as many
languages use English words. Brainstorm the words with the class, putting
the relevant flashcards on the board. Say the word in English and have
pupils repeat.
- Say to Max: I like pizza. What do you like? Max answers: I like chips.
Then Max turns to a pupil and asks: What do you like?
- Max repeats this dialogue with several pupils: I like ____ . What do you
like? Re-introduce the words water, bread, cheese and fish.
