- Call on the different characters, one by one, to step up and take a bow.
Now, ask all the pupils in the cast to hold hands and take a bow. Tell the
entire class: Everyone stand up and take a bow.
- Say: I can act out a story. Can you do it? Pupils answer: I can do it.
- Tell pupils they did a great job and are wonderful actors and actresses and
a wonderful audience.
- Say: Whoever wants a cookie, please sit down.
- When everyone is seated, have Little Red Riding Hood go around the room
with her basket and hand out a cookie to every pupil. Remind pupils to say:

Action and Cube Game (game #35)
- Model the activity for pupils before playing.
- Put six cards of facial features or parts of the body face down on your desk.
- Put small cards with the numbers 1-6 over the flashcards. Have a pupil
come to the front of the room and throw the dice.
- The pupil chooses a card according to the number, looks at the picture and
decides on an action. For example, if s/he gets hands, s/he can say: Clap
your hands. If s/he gets nose, s/he can say: Point to your nose.
- The class does the action.
- Repeat this activity with six pupils for all six cards.

Class ABC Book
- Each group gets a page of A3 paper. Give each group one of the eight
learned letters: F, H, G, I, P, N, R, W and tell pupils to "rainbow draw" the
letter in the center of the paper. The groups must find pictures in magazines
or draw pictures that begin with that letter.
- Each group presents their page in front of the class. First, they introduce the
letter with the chant: The letter is ____ . The sound is /_ /. Then, they
say the pictures on their page.
- When all the groups are finished, punch holes in the pages and and add
them to the book. The book will eventually be in alphabetical order.
